In the last few weeks, we have been learning about #Biomarkers.
We learned about some common actionable biomarkers in colorectal cancer: MSS/MSI-H, BRAF, KRAS, ERBB2/HER2

There are a few more but these are much rarer & found at very low rates in colorectal cancer, but if present can be targeted as efficacious drugs against these gene mutations are available. They are usually seen in MSI-H colorectal cancer, but certain types like POLE or POLD mutations can be found in MSS CRC as well.

So now you know your biomarkers and what they mean for you etc.
But did you know that there is a simple way to keep track of your actionable biomarkers?
Steve Schwarze, who was the COLONTOWN Mayor and Cabinet member had a brilliant idea..
He created this that anyone can use. Go to COLONTOWN University click below:

Steve’s idea was that people could print this and then look at their tumor genomic testing reports or talk to their care team and fill all the information and keep this in their purse as a ready reference about their tumor.
If you have stage IV or metastatic colorectal cancer and haven’t had biomarker testing, it’s a good idea to print this PDF and take it to your oncologist and ask for information about your cancer.
